Join the stars of athletics in a special event, the Nitro parkrun, at Lakeside Stadium, Albert Park on Saturday February 11.
The 5km course involves a lap of Albert Park Lake, with the start and finish line inside Lakeside Stadium.
Held on the same day as the Coles Nitro Athletics Melbourne Final, the Nitro parkrun is about running for enjoyment and gearing up for the big Nitro Athletics finale that night.
It’s an event for all the family, featuring an IAAF athletics clinic, face painters, vendor stalls and the chance to meet some of the world’s best athletes after the run.
What is Nitro parkrun?
It is a 5km run – you against the clock.
When is it?
Saturday 11 February 2017, 8:00am.
Please allow plenty of time for parking and plan to be inside the stadium by 7.30am, the run will commence at 8am sharp.
Where is it?
Albert Park Lake, Melbourne. The run starts and ends inside Lakeside Stadium.
