Jamaican Olympic gold medallists Asafa Powell and Michael Frater along with a few rising Australian youngsters headline the first group of athletes confirmed to join Usain Bolt in the Bolt All-Stars for Coles Nitro Athletics Melbourne.
Headlined by Olympians and Olympic finalists including Ryan Gregson, Morgan Mitchell, Genevieve LaCaze, Fabrice Lapierre, Kathryn Mitchell and Michelle Jenneke the team also includes Paralympic gold medallist Scott Reardon and bronze medallist Ella Pardy.
Japan will feature three of the men that came fourth in the 4x100m relay at the 2015 World Championships in Beijing - Takuya Nagata, Kazuma Oseto and Kotaro Taniguchi. Another name to watch out for is Rio Olympic hurdler Wataru Yazawa.
Team China will feature two-time Olympic hurdler Xie Wenjun who is also a three-time national champion. The team features a number of young prodigies including pole-vaulter Xue Changrui who came six in Rio and Olympic javelin thrower Liu Shiying.
Christine Ohuruogu, 2008 Olympic 400m champion and silver medallist from her home Games in 2012, will captain Team England at Coles Nitro Athletics which also features three-time Olympian Michael Rimmer who will compete in the updated distance races in the series.
Paralympic T47 long jump champion and national record holder in four events Anna Grimaldi will headline the New Zealand team competing at Nitro Athletics that features a number of promising young athletes keen to make their mark on the world stage.
